Hey there! Thanks for visiting my site. I have been designing kitchens and bathrooms for 16 years and I love re-imagining a space especially when we are talking about moving walls or switching locations of appliances/plumbing/electrical to make the space flow better. I have not met a space that was too difficult to find a solution for. I do pride myself on being able to visualize what is possible for my clients and show them my vision using my 3-d software.
I really owe a lot to my Dad and my Brothers who taught me how to do everything from read a tape measure, to operating tools like the miter saw and pin nailer like a pro. Of course I started out as a “go-fer” (fetching their tools for them) at the age of 17…but I wouldn’t trade that time in my life for anything. It brings a smile to my face even as I am writing this Bio.
In 2005 I learned about the NKBA (the National Kitchen and Bath Association) and their Certification for Kitchen and Bath Designers. This became one of my goals to pursue and now I am committed in helping others navigate and obtain their own Certification in the industry by holding annual study groups through the local NKBA Chapter.
I stay involved in my industry by regularly attending Chapter Meetings, earning continuing education credits and attending trade shows to stay on top of trends, new products, and product knowledge.
In 2017 I was thrilled to receive an award for Best Small Kitchen and was featured in California Home Design’s Magazine.
In 2018 I was recognized by the NKBA So Cal Chapter for my contribution to the board.
I’m married, have two kiddos and a fur baby named Woofie. Other interests include personal development, fitness, finding new healthy recipes to try out, and just being social.
My goal for this blog is to share my thoughts/experiences as a design professional. Let me know if you have any design questions!!
